Adobe has released the beta version of Flash Player 10. This beta version includes some exciting features like 3D effects, creating custom filters and enhanced text layouts for Flash movies. Adobe has also worked on improving the sound APIs and visual performance. Flash Player 10 takes advantage of the hardware acceleration, thus freeing the CPU for doing other useful tasks. So, why waiting? Install the new Flash Player and experience the changes.

I don’t know the exact count of how many times I’ve changed my blog’s theme (approximately 7 or 8). This time I’ve changed the current theme to Hemingway blog theme. Previously I was using a theme which I got from Smashing Magazine, but somehow that theme was not suit for my blog’s mood.So, here’s Hemingway.

Initially there were no problems with Google Chrome browser. It just worked out of the box. But suddenly one fine day, it stopped loading web pages, showing “Error 104 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED)” message. At first I thought it’s a fresh bug coming out of chrome, Since Firefox and IE were just fine, I had to put the blame on Chrome.
But later, I found that Zone Alarm firewall is blocking Chrome. Somehow, the application settings for Chrome in Zone alarm are all set to “Deny” and Chrome was failing to make a connection …

When I was doing my schooling, there were only two libraries open in my home town. One was my school library and other one - Sowdambika Library was located in the market area. But both had very few story books and few Tamil weeklies. In my school library, they were lending Thirukkural and Bharathiyar poem books. To read other story books, we had to go to the Sowdambika library, which was located in a very small building. Only 5 to 6 people can sit and read books from there. But …
