THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have been struggling with this simple issue for a while. I’m running windows 7 at the moment and as silly as this is I was just too frightened to start poking away at some miner connection tweaks. Thank you so much.

I had the same problem, but neither Chrome or IE worked, but Firefox worked fine. If the problem isnt with your fire wall try this. After a little poking around I found that IE and Chrome both use the same type of means to access the internet so, this is what worked for me.

Open IE and on the menu: Tools -> Internet Options
Hit the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK
“Use a proxy server for your LAN”, then OK both windows.
refresh the browser and it should work.

i have the same problem. google chrome can't connect to the internet. and i can only make it work if i run the google web accelerator with it. firefox works just fine even without the accelerator. firewall isn't blocking chrome. the the web accelerator make changes to my computer?.

To start with I also didnt like Chrome in its first sight.

Later I am loving it.I liked incognito mode
