What I am missing in Google Chrome.

I’ve been using Google Chrome from the day it’s got released. I am really impressed with this new web 2.0 browser, but it still lacks few features which I am really missing in Google Chrome. As the new browser still is in it’s early ages, I hope these features will be introduced in future versions.

What I am missing in Chrome?

• RSS support in Chrome:
  Currently Chrome doesn’t have any built-in support for RSS subscription. If I click on a RSS link, some crap XML markups are shown up, instead of asking me to subscribe for that RSS feed (something like what Firefox does). Or, Chrome could render the RSS markups in a readable manner, like how IE7 renders RSS pages.
• User controlled Most-visited pages:
  Chrome has a nice feature to show the thumbnails of most visited pages as a start page when ever you open a new tab. But, some people may not like this feature because manually controlling what’s showing up in the Most visited pages is not possible. If you want to remove a web page from Chrome’s Most visited list, you need to clear up your entire browsing history. Instead of doing all these, Chrome can give the rights to the user to configure the Front page thumbnails (How about Opera’s Speed dial!?)
• Searching inside Text Areas too
  When you use Chrome’s search tool, it searches the text outside the text areas. The test inside a text area is not searchable. For me, this is really a lacking feature in Google Chrome.

Above are the basic missing features (in my view) of Google Chrome. If I start comparing the Chrome’s feature against Firefox’s endless plug-ins, then the list will go on and go on. Let’s wait for what’s coming up in the future releases of Chrome.
