This project is great for a PHP developer because it allows me to install different versions of PHP and switch between them as I need to. As we are in the midst of migrating all of our clients from PHP 4 to PHP 5, it is nice to be able to toggle my local development server between them with a couple of mouse clicks. Different versions of Apache and MySQL are also supported. I was a fan of XAMPP until I discovered WAMP Server 2. This project is great for a PHP developer because it allows me to install different versions of PHP and switch between them as I need to.
