[Useless] tips for playing FIFA 04 (A very old game, though!). Never follow these tips, if you want to play FIFA truthfully.
- Tip 1 : If you are not that good at FIFA, then make your opponent skills less than yours:
What I meant is go to Game Settings and set the difficulty level to Amateur (the easiest level). The BIG advantage in playing at this level is now your team will have 22 players. Yes! All the players running insanely on your screen will be playing for your team and helping you to put the ball inside the post.
Afraid of some of your team player will be stealing the ball from you!? Don’t worry – two players from the opponent team will be running along with you as bodygaurds to make sure that none of your teammates steals the ball form you!
- Tip 2 : Use the Off-the-Ball control (After all, it’s free!):
Never pass the ball using the ‘S’ key. Always use the ‘Z’ (off-the-ball control) key and pass the ball through the airway. Your opponents are not supermens, so they can’t tackle the ball in air (if they DO, you better quit the game!). And at the wing play, off-the-ball is very effective. - Tip 3 : For the desperate people, who just want to score a goal:
This tip is only for those people who desparately want to a score atleast one goal. When you start the game or because of any pre-life-karmas the oppoenent guy loss the ball to you, you will be having the ball at your feet. Now just take the ball to the side where no one comes in opposite to you. And at the end of the ground, there will be a goal post gaurded by a poor fellow in the same dress like yours. He will be expecting you to shoot the ball in the ground, so don’t worry he wont block your shot!
Now after you are close enough to the goal post (to make sure that you won’t miss a goal, you can run into the goal post also!) use the ‘S’ key to put the ball inside the goal post! Wow.. atlast you made it!! YOU scored a goal! (hey..hey..you just wanted to SCORE a goal na!? It doesn’t matter, if it is for your team or for the opposite team! At the end of day, A goal is a goal!)
