It looks like Google is trying it’s best to optimize and improvise it’s playground THE WEB! If you could remember, few days back Google has released a Firefox plug-in called Page speed, for analysing the web site performance. The plug-in is indeed a really useful tool for the web developers. No one could deny the suggestions and advices when it comes from Google (of course, there are exceptions for this rule!), since Google has much more practical experience in developing web services and applications. Looks similar to stuff on YDN, but much more comprehensive.
yes UT. In fact, the Page Speed Firefox plug-in which Google released few days back is again similar to YSlow! Google is trying to provide a better alternative of what is already available.
