It’s been a month since I bought my Nikon D3000. But I haven’t posted any photographs here (even though I update Flickr). So, I decided to cross-post few photos here which I feel confident in sharing with my readers (:)). Without much ado, lets dive into my Nikon!
Colors of Nature:
I took this photo on my way to Thirupati. Was so happy with the way I could play around with focusing, which was not at all possible in my earlier point-and-shoot camera.
Temple in the morning:
Took this photo at a temple near to my house (Besant Nagar, Chennai). The timing and the sky was so perfect.
Tidel park, Chennai:
Taken at Tidel Park Chennai. This building is one of the land mark for the IT revolution in Chennai. Many software companies have their office spaced located at this building, including the giants like CTS.

That temple looks great! Nice timing you’ve got. Great colors and shades. One suggestion, that top and bottom black parts disturb the feel of the photo. Consider that.
thank you.
point taken.
Man … Don’t tempt me… I want to be strict with my budget. I want at least 4-6 months to buy my dream camera
he.he.he. All the best for your dream to come true.
Awesome pics. Veera.
Your office is also in this building?
Thanks, Tahir.
Your office is also in this building?
Nops.. my office is located in a separate facility (about 10 kms away from the above building).
Nice pics man!!
Hey Veera,
Noticed you got a Nikon D3000 there. I am newbie to DSLRs. I did my research over the net and they say a D3000 is great to start with? What do you reckon?
PS: Great clicks!
I’m very much satisfied with my Nikon D3000. The only shortcoming I feel that is the kit lens does not have much zooming capacity. Apart from that, D3000 is very good choice for a starter.
Vraa,
Nice Bokeh in the Temple picture. What changes you did post production?
And what lens do you use?

Allwin
made some contrast changes in the post processing.
and, I’m using 18-55 mm kit lens.
