Hi Guys.. It’s been several days since I posted anything in my blog. So, this post is just to let you know that I’m still alive and kicking!
Okay.. what kept me busy for the past few days?
- Bought a new DSLR camera – Nikon D3000. Spend a lot of time to get myself familiar with this sweety! Took her for the outing on last weekend. You can see some of the photos taken during that outing in my flickr stream. Oh, btw, here’s my flickr stream – http://www.flickr.com/photos/veerasundar/
- Working on a Java application based on Google App Engine platform. It’s in too early stage to announce what my app is about. Will do a proper announcement once the app is in some shape (might take few weeks!). But, again, this task will keep me busy for the coming days. Believe me, it’s a good learning experience.
And there’s a devcamp organized at Chennai on July 10th. If you are interested you can too join this event. More details here: http://barcamp.org/DevCampChennai

Off… (Wiping sweat out of my forehead)… finally a word from you.. We were so worried.. It was a huge gap from you…
I term the Camera to be a male. Its the best mate who comes with you wherever you want. Female will lead you wherever they want to go. Personal opinion!!!
Java app on Google App Engine… Sounds interesting… All the Best with the learning…
Barcamp… 10th is a working day here… Damn…
thanks for the concern, Prem!
On the Camera’s gender, I’ll prefer to be as a girl! Let’s see what twitterverse thinks – http://twitter.com/vraa/status/18091905624
I’ll call it as a Girl, Since we need to lot of time to understand it and we need to have patience to use it. if you have to understand the girl then you have to take girl out and bla bla bla…. Finally it listens to you
Adding to that: The maintenance is more trickier than buying. And A camera is more happy (works better) when we buy it ‘lots of’ accessories like lens, tripods etc.
